Jesus said "Let the little children to come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of Heaven belongs to such as these" (Matt. 19:14). Children are very important to us. We strive to guide each child in his or her Christian commitment by participating in the life and work of the church and to serve God at home, in the community, and in the world.

Children from kindergarten – 6th grade are picked up from Malvern schools in the church van and transported to Church. Students from schools outside Malvern as well as home-schooled children are welcome too. The children enjoy recreation from the time they arrive until 3:45pm. Snack time is 3:45 – 4:00pm. Then the children are divided into three classes: Kindergarten and 1st graders, 2nd through 4th graders, and 5th & 6th graders. They have Bible study and life application time until 5:00 pm. Parents are asked to pick up their children at 5:00pm unless they have another church activity that evening.

Children's Choir:
From 5 – 5:30pm on Wednesdays, children meet with music teachers in the Children's Choir room in the Education Building to practice.

Nursery care is provided in the church nursery on Sundays from 9:15am until the conclusion of the 10:35am worship service, usually about 11:35am. Two experienced caregivers administer to the needs of infants to 3-year-olds requiring care.

Children's Sermon
On every Sunday of the month, except the 1st Sunday, a special short message geared to children's interests and understanding is presented during the 10:35am Sunday Service to those children in attendance. Usually this is done by a member of the congregation but occassionally Rev. Post will talk with the children about a life lesson.
